About this journal. Nordic Studies on Alcohol and Drugs (NAD) is a peer-reviewed open access journal which focuses on social science research on alcohol and drugs, as well as other related substances and behaviours. The journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Nordic social workers are, as a rule, academically trained professionals whose status has been considered high in wider international comparisons (Lorenz, 1994; Meeuwisse and Swärd, 2007). Nordic Journal of Media Studies focuses on the interplay between the media and their cultural and social contexts. We are interested in the media as industries and institutions of modern society, but also in how they are woven into the fabric of everyday life as mobile and interactive technologies.

This issue of the Nordic Journal of Business contains three peer-reviewed articles. In the first article, Pertti Laine, Päivikki Kuoppakangas and Jari Stenvall provide a new perspective on change strategy and its operational definition.
